About Us: Ralph Henderson Jr.
Ralph G. Mendy Henderson Jr. is one of the nation’s leading, business, corporate growth, and investment banking advisers. Throughout his 29-year career, he has successfully run and overseen the growth of large and midsized firms of up to 200 people and has been an investment banker for both public and private companies, leading over 300 employees. His experience spans across several areas of financial management. His strengths are in developing partnerships and advisory services for leading private equity hedge funds, angel investors, M&A firms, family offices, and banks. Additionally, he has a reputation for building management teams and leading corporate operations.
As Co-Founder of The Deal Metrics company, investment banking advisory firm, Ralph has been a part of the leadership group to drive the strategic development and direction of the company.
It was a proud day for Ralph when he was asked by the Equal Justices Now Foundation to become their next president of corporate partnerships. As the foundation for the George Floyd Breonna Taylor and many victims that have been killed by police. Ralph has been happy to join the national leadership for social change and police reform. Ralph has been excited to use his national relationships with the leaders in government entertainment and the investment community globally to help fight against institutional racism voter suppression and support police reform.
Years ago, he joined the co- ownership group of Ebony and Jet Magazine, as the head of invests and corporate funding. He showed company loyalty during Ebony’s tough economic times by sticking with the company to provide corporate reorganization advisory services during Ebony’s bankruptcy and sale.
And before that he proudly was the senior client relation advisor at One United Bank. His duties were to travel the nation and speak to the leaders in the black communities about economic empowerment. During his time at One Unite Bank he provided investment banking adviser to NAACP and the Black Congressional Caucus to Howard and Spelman University and more.
Prior to that, Ralph was part of the ownership and senior advisory management team of Attorney Recovery Systems, Inc. (ARS), a commercial collection and corporate mediation firm that resolves over $30 million in unpaid invoices and disputed contracts per year. There he successfully grew the company from a staff of three to over 40 + with locations in four states.
At the same time, he launched TPCG, The Pathway Capital Group, a boutique investment banking advisory firm, that provided institutional and private corporate investment and corporate funding to companies in many industries.
Before starting TPCG he was the COO of Pacific Capital, a private equity firm. During his tenure, the firm and its partners had $1.2 billion under management, and he was part of the executive team that successfully provided M&A and capital investment services to leading US based fortune 1000 companies.
Ralph began his career at S&S Gold and Silver where he was one of the tops nationally ranked gold and silver investment brokers. When Smith Barney acquired the organization, he quickly rose through the
ranks as the Vice President of Client Relations, he was a leading banker in their $1.2 billion media division. Ralph advised clients including Warner Brothers, Paramount, Universal, and Lions Gate studios. Where he provided investment banking funding advisory services for films like, Transformers Cliff Hangers, Terminator Legally Blonde Saving Private Ryan, Fast and The Furious and The Hobbit, The Matrix’s. Join in the investment banking advisory team for Tom Cruise United Artist and Sky dance Media, and for Jeffery Katzenberg and Steven Spielberg, DreamWorks Entertainment. Also, Ralph served as a proud investment banking adviser to Stan Lee and his company Marvel Comics. During his career, Ralph has been proud to call many of his client’s friends. His belief that together we stand, divided we fall, and his desire to empower and inspire those around him, has contributed to his ability to gather investment partners with over $432 billion in capital under management, as well as oversee close to $22 billion in corporate investments and transactions.
Ralph was born in 1964 in Chicago. He attended Beverly Hills High School and graduated from North Hollywood High School. After attending California State University, Northridge where he played basketball, he went on to play semi- pro-overseas.
Ralph currently resides in the San Fernando Valley with his family, daughter, and son. When he is not in the office or tending to a client, he can be found spending time with his large extended family or at his church.
